Description:
Lower Woodpecker is really more
a "play" area then a "trail". It is very short in
length but BIG on rocks. There are five or so different "paths"
to take through this outcropping of rocks, some bigger than others,
some more off camber than others. Sometimes there's water, sometimes
not. It's different each time you traverse it but it definitely doesn't
get easier.
There are full rock walls covered
with pictographs. How wonderful it would be to know the story behind
all of them.
