Location: Table Mesa
Trail Rating: 2.5+
Description:

There is many ways to get to CK. Whether you start from the staging area just off Table Mesa Rd or the river bottom this route has a little of everything. Graded road, sandy wash, hills, semi technical hills (you can find em if yer looking for em) and rocks. While, there is nothing awfully difficult this is one of the longer rides at 80 miles and can be downright physically demanding for some. In addition, some riders may become anxious as they approach the trails edge due to various steep drop-offs. These cliffs, if you will, give way to some absolutely spectacular views and oh let’s not forget this is a jeep trail and it is not uncommon to have to share this trail with various caravans. I do rate this trail a 3 based on a couple of 12”-18” shelves. Additionally, the weather in Crown King tends to run 10-15 degrees cooler so during the winter months bring some extra layers and gloves for the snowballs.
State Trust Land Recreation Permit is required.

Remember to Tread lightly!

How to Get There:
When you exit at Table Mesa Rd, turn left at the stop sign. Go over the highway and make a right(a left will put you back on the highway). This frontage road will turn to gravel/dirt within a hundred yards or so. There is a large parking area on the left as well as many others further down the road. Unfortunatly, if your OHV is not street legal you can not stage from this area. This ride was compiled before I was aware of these requirements. See Notes/Additional Information for details.
