Description:
Be sure to visit historic Jerome, or stop by the Gold King mine and ghost town along the route. these attractions require a small fee. Once in the backcountry, enjoy the secluded adventure through Martin Canyon. You can hike and camp at various places along the trail. Trail is maintained by the Prescott mountain goats 4-wheel drive club.
Difficult – This rating applies to the section through Martin Canyon which is narrow and rocky. Skid plates and good articulation are recommended. Most of the route is an easy gravel road

How to Get There:
Take highway 89A through Jerome and turn north at the fire station. The fire station is located at a tight turn along a switchback that winds through the center of town. You can't miss the fire station if you stay on 89A. Once you get to the power lines, follow them at the fork. the power station will be on your right side
