Description:

A short 8 mile beautiful drive across classic desert terrain. Stop for lunch beside the cool waters of Oak Creek. This trail is rated moderate. Mostly easy except for a couple rocky stretches. One short section of a ledge road is crossed in both directions and required carful tire placement coming back up. Stock SUVs should have high ground clearance, good articulation and skid plates.

Remember to Tread lightly!

How to Get There:
Head southwest from Sedona on highway 89A. Turn left between mile markers 369 and 368 on Lower Red Rock Loop road. Head south about 1.1 miles and turn right on an easy to miss road (F.S. 9845)
