Location: Near Black Canyon City
Trail Rating: 3.0

Description:
The pipeline trail is a nice trail that should take 2~3 hours to run, depending on how many vehicles you have. There are two notable obstacles, the first one being a steep downhill (with a bypass to the right). The 2nd is the tunnel that you must pass through under the north bound freeway lane. When exiting the tunnel, you will drop about 3' to the trail. Some rocks have been stacked up to help make a ramp. You will have to climb over a few good sized rocks as you leave the immediate area. The remainder of the trail to Table Mesa Road is more of the typical up and down hills that you did prior to the tunnel. This can be run by a stock vehicle (might need a tow), but a little lift and taller tires will make the tunnel exit much easier.

Remember to Tread lightly!

How to Get There:
Take I-17 north from Phoenix. Exit the freeway at Exit 242, just south of Black Canyon City. Turn right (east) onto the access road. Follow the road to the first left turn. Do not turn left but rather open the gate on your right and proceed through (be sure to close it behind you). About 50 yards down the trail is a spot to air down.
