Description:
Scenic mountain drive,NE of Phoenix, on approximately 28 miles of a twisting, grated road to reach a high point of 5,700 feet. Easy trail, great for the family trip. Trail is usually open year-round, but can be closed during heavy snows;snow likely near top during late fall and winter.
Takes approximately 3-4 hours to travel. 4x4 not necessary, but always beneficial as road can be washed out in areas.
