Location: Near Bumble Bee
Trail Rating: 4.5
Description:

Bumble Bee Creek is a relatively short but very challenging trail. Lockers (front and rear) and at least 33's are highly recommended.

The trail starts just south of Bumble Bee (FR684), and follows a class 2 trail for a ways, until you get down into the bottom of a canyon. You'll know it when you get there, by the large cottonwoods in it. Turn right up the canyon and keep an eye out for a wash on the right...this will take you to Bumble Bee Creek trail.

The sandy wash turns into a narrow slot w/ a decent sized waterfall that you need to scramble up. If there's water in the creek, things will get slick. From there you just have to pick your way through the obstacles. The trail will eventually exit to the right and will take to back to the main trail.

Remember to Tread lightly!

How to Get There:
I-17 north to Bumble Bee exit. Head toward BB, and keep an ey out for FR684 on your lef t (west).
