Buckhorn Wash has served as a major transportation link from Wickenburg to the mines in the Bradshaw and Wickenburg Mountains for more than a century. This is a leisurely drive perfectly suited to the novice off-roader or sports utility enthusiast, and a perfect opportunity to enjoy some beautiful scenery and to experience a bit of Arizona history.

The Buckhorn Trail is Easy to Moderate and ideal for the experienced or novice driver. This trail is generally rated as a 2.0 (Easy). I only recommend that vehicles equipped with 4-wheel drive and in sound operating condition use this trail.
