| Description: |
|
Leaves the Beeline Hwy (SR 87) at the Sycamore Creek crossing and heads west toward Bartlett Lake on FR 98. The first part of the trail is up a rocky creek bed with a few obstacles that would challenge a stock vehicle. After the creek bed it is pretty much hard packed sand. The trails intersects FR 393 and privdes a very scenic view of the lake before heading down to the lake and to the powerline road. The powerline road comes to the Verde River, which can normally be crossed north of Rio Verde Road Remember to Tread lightly! |
| How to Get There: |
| Follow Beeline Hwy north to the
Sycamore Creek corssing (market unknown at this time - will be updated
later). Head west on the dirt road. At some point there is a junction
- take the right fork. There should be a barbed wire gate - don;t forget
to close it. Near the lake, take the left fork to head up the powerline
road. Follow until you reach the Verde River. |
